How we score

Every provider is scored on the same 100-point scale from documented, checkable inputs, so the same facts always produce the same score. We publish what we evaluate and its order of importance; the exact weighting stays internal. Scores are editorial opinions reflecting documented business practices, transparency, pricing, access, and nonclinical consumer-service factors — not clinical quality or outcomes for any individual.

Factor 1

Clinical credibility

Who actually treats you — employed, board-certified specialists over questionnaire-only models.

Factor 2

Regulatory & safety record

FDA warning letters, FTC/DOJ/state enforcement, compounded-drug practices — each deduction cited.

Factor 3

Transparency & trust

Pricing shown before signup, a disclosed medical group, honest FDA-approval disclosure.

Factor 4

Access & coverage

State coverage, insurance acceptance including Medicare/Medicaid, speed of access.

Factor 5

Customer experience

A volume-weighted blend of Trustpilot, BBB, and app-store ratings, minus complaint patterns.

Factor 6

Value & pricing

Price against category norms, layered membership fees, money-back guarantees.

Some providers pay us a commission when you sign up through our links; many of our top-ranked providers pay us nothing, and they are featured identically — ranking integrity is the product. Providers we decline to rank, and why, are listed on our Watchlist. Compensated links are disclosed; our methodology is published; compensation does not affect rankings.
